3D Africa


Branding and site development for 3D Africa, a program powered by the Youth for Technology Foundation. The program provides training for students in Nigeria and additional locations in Africa that includes 3D modeling and related technologies with a goal of economic empowerment in these developing economies. The goal of this design was to create a unique feel while maintaining a sense of the parent organization’s brand at the same time.

Details: Microsite and support collateral design for the Knight Arts Challenge Miami. The project was in support of an arts grant initiative, with the winner receiving a $20,000 grant. Voting is being handled by text messaging.

Smiley Pete Publishing

Smiley Pete Publishing is an independent publishing company in Lexington, Kentucky. Their publications, The Chevy Chaser magazine, Southsider magazine and Business Lexington are each geared for specific niche audiences in and around Lexington while sharing some content. Chevy Chaser and Southsider were redesigned to both differentiate themselves from each other and to help better identify themselves with their audiences. Business Lexington was designed from scratch with the goal of creating a product that felt established from day one.

La Voz of Kentucky

Redesign of bilingual publication La Voz. This project presented the unique challenge of packaging information in both English and Spanish. The result is a dynamic publication that reflects a growing immigrant population and hopes to serve as an ambassador for them to their new community and the opposite as well.

Group buying portal for Smiley Pete Publishing. I always feel any e-commerce site should make the user feel comfortable and at ease with their transactions. A clean, simple design helps to convey that sense every time.
